On to the show with Vinnie Montez

Charlie Chaplin said, “I believe in the power of laughter and tears as an antidote to hatred and terror.”

Remember that the body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter and spirit heals with joy.

Vinnie Montez is a good friend, full time law enforcement Commander and one of the most popular stand-up comedians out there.

Vinnie is a loud, boisterous and yet insightful comic. With a strong Mexican heritage his mom and dad were the biggest influences in his life; they weren’t afraid to be themselves or stray from the traditional Mexican culture, instilling core values while letting him find his own way. He grew up in Colorado and always knew he wanted to become a police officer and in 1998 his dream was realized. He has been a successful law enforcement professional for many years, and he has had many assignments. Presently Vinnie is a Commander with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department.

Vinnie got into comedy in 2007 with a trial performance with an open mic night at Comedy Works in Denver and has never looked back. He has shared the stage with Joe RoganJohn Crist and Paul Rodriguez to name a few.

Vinnie is also heavily involved in charitable organizations and law enforcement causes and programs such as Humanize the Badge.

Vinnie and I get personal with our talk and he shared some of the obstacles he has overcome personally and professionally.

A great show and a must listen.
