I struggled. I was in a dark place for a long time. I was in pain, and I masked it with alcohol.  I was contemplating hurting myself.  I finally decided to reach out and ask for help, and I am grateful I did. FHE Health and The Shatterproof Program saved my life. If you are struggling, you don’t have to stay there. We can and will help you. Reach out today at 303.960.9819.

I wear a bracelet on my wrist that says “Memento Mori”. This ancient saying goes back to the time of Socrates. The literal translation means “Remember you will die.”

Yes, everything living on this planet will die at some point, including you and I. I look at this every day and ponder if I am living the life I am supposed to be. Am I giving it my all? Am I giving back to my fellow humans the way I want to? If not, it’s up to me to make the change and not wait for someone else to do it.

Suicide rates in this country and among first responders are staggering with no signs of slowing down unfortunately. I often wonder if the soul still suffers when someone takes their own life. My opinion is it does. I think those souls are shown a life of “What could have been” if they had kept going, had faith, and reached out for help when they needed it.

Take a look at your life and dive deep. Are you living the best life you can right now? If not remember Memento Mori.

Stay strong, Stay safe, and see you next time.
