Ep. 279: Ryan J: Personal Finance for Law Enforcement Professionals

Personal Finance for Law Enforcement Professionals

In this episode, Patrick welcomes Ryan J.

Ryan is a police officer in a large municipal agency in Arizona. But his financial journey began when he and his wife saved up a sum of money and he didn’t know who he could trust to invest it…

After several interviews with financial advisers, he still didn’t feel like he could trust anyone. Due to this, Ryan began his journey to educate himself by reading every finance book he could get my hands on and by attending financial seminars.

After getting a good handle on debt, finance, and investments, he decided to start this blog as a resource for others who find it difficult to trust people with their money.

Having been in law enforcement for 14 years, he has seen the devastation left behind by people who mismanage their finances. This also motivates Ryan to educate as many people as he can, both in and outside of law enforcement. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Administration Degree from Northern Arizona University. He is an adjunct professor at a local community college, and he has been a student of finance for many years.

His blog is dedicated to those looking to eliminate their debt and to mold a new way of thinking, living, and spending. Education focused on financial stability and wealth.

You can find Ryan and his blog, Arrest Your Debt, here.
