When a friend of hers disappeared and was sold to a sultan in Libya, the experience caused her to start collecting stories of people in similar situations. These stories eventually materialized into her best-selling, award winning Human Trafficking Series.

In addition to talking about human trafficking in the 21st Century, Nancy also gives some practical and useful tips for first responders if they come into contact with victims of human trafficking.
